I work with Executives, Founders and Business Owners and their leadership teams, to create greater business impact by improving their ability to work with and through others. This includes working together more effectively as a leadership team, getting the best out of their people, and influencing and working better with key internal and external stakeholders.
I have worked with hundreds of senior executives, high potentials, co-founders, and business owners in the areas of Strategic Thinking, Powerful Communication, Influence & Persuasion, Inspirational Leadership, Stakeholder Management, Delivery Through Others, and Talent Development. You can learn more about engaging me to work with you and your team here.
I also work with small businesses and larger companies looking for support with top team alignment, leadership transitions, and developing high-potential talent. For details on the services I provide to companies, please see this
More recently, I have started working with change-makers and leaders at not-for-profit organizations that are working in the areas of poverty reduction and sustainable development. I hope to help these committed leaders amplify their impact, and make a difference in more lives than they might on their own.
Besides coaching, I hope to touch the lives of people through my writing. I maintain a blog and also post my articles on social media. I am also working on a couple of book ideas - related to leadership and personal development.
Inspiration
I have had the fortune to be mentored by and work along side many inspiring leaders and effective managers. While there are too many to name, I would be remiss not to mention K T Krishnamurti, James Er and Shirley Ho.
I have always been an avid reader, with a fairly eclectic taste ranging from classical literature, pulp fiction, mythology, science, business and self-help. Among the writers on leadership who have provided much inspiration, I would count Peter Drucker, Ken Blanchard, Jim Collins, John Maxwell, Marshall Goldsmith, Ram Charan and Patrick Lencioni.
While I’m fairly new to blogging, I have followed some bloggers and podcasts fairly closely and they continue to inspire me. Again, while the list of bloggers I follow is fairly long, my absolute go-tos include David Allen, Michael Hyatt and the Manager Tools podcast by Michael Auzenne and Mark Horstman
Professional Experience
I have over 26 years of functional and general management experience in small and large companies, mostly in the energy sector. I have worked in and led, small and large teams in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines and Thailand.
I have had the privilege of working in great companies like Grasim Industries, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, Singapore Refining Company and Shell.
As a Leadership Coach and Mentor, I have worked with leaders from several major organisations including Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Arvind, Bank of Baroda, BPCL, Cisco, Flipkart, Ford, GE, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Juniper, Keppel, Oracle, Petronas, Reliance, Samsung, Siemens, Shell, ST Engineering, Syndicate Bank, TCS and Wipro

Interests Outside Work
They say work ceases to be work - when you enjoy what you are doing.
While that is more than true for me, I also feel blessed that my work allows me to pursue my other passions such as sustainable living (I’m a Certified Permaculture Designer!), reading, writing, music and long and lively conversations with some very brilliant and passionate people.
We own a small farm (more a food forest actually) at Shoolagiri, a really short drive from our home on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Besides providing us, our friends and neighbours, a modest quantity of delicious fruits and vegetables, it has given us the opportunity to get to know and make friends with some very passionate and fascinating people, who we might have never met otherwise.
