trust-building

If you want to build an A-Team, it goes without saying that as a leader you need to keep them engaged and productive. Here are some more methods you can employ to supercharge their productivity.

Get them to focus:

The more tasks you divide your concentration on, the more likely you are to end up with accomplishing nothing. Encourage your team to go without checking their emails or phones for a few hours a day so that they can concentrate on the high urgency - high priority tasks.

Get their energy levels up:

Physical and mental energy are very important factors when it comes to productivity. Ensure your team eats well and on time. When conducting lunch meetings, arrange for non-processed, non-junk food.

Create a environment conducive for creativity:

Creative genius will not flourish in a stressful, distraction-filled environment. Encourage your team to make time to get away from work and try new things. Soon, this creativity will be fueling their productivity.

Celebrate micro-goals

Arrange for a daily or weekly standup meeting where your team shares the micro-goals they achieved on their way to achieving the larger goal. By doing so, you not only make them accountable on a daily basis but also motivate them to keep up their performance by celebrating the smaller victories.
